Pickaway County Republican Party Censures Patty Hamilton
Circleville, Ohio - Over the last four years, Republicans serving on the county central committee have come to know Patty Hamilton all too well.
They have seen her insult and demean decent people. They have seen her treat those who disagree with her on minor matters with open disrespect. They have seen her disrupt meetings and turn serious party business into spectacle.
Because of this behavior the Pickaway County Republican Central Committee voted by a supermajority to censure Patty Hamilton.
Her response has been to cast herself as a victim and pretend this is some ideological crusade. It is not. This committee is made up of everyday working Republicans from every corner of Pickaway County. It includes Tea Party conservatives, MAGA warriors, pro-life advocates, defenders of traditional family values, fiscal conservatives, Second Amendment supporters, and more. We may come from different lanes of the conservative movement, but we are united in one mission: defeating radical left-wing Democrats at every level of government.
Has she joined the committee to achieve this goal? No. She has refused to volunteer at any of the 30+ party events over the last two years, instigated shouting matches in central committee meetings, and waged a public war with her fellow central committee members which is well documented in local news. This is not about principle. It is about ego.
That’s why the Pickaway County Central Committee also rejected her endorsement in the following races:
For State Representative by 38-6 (86% against Patty Hamilton), and
For the State Central Committee by 37-8 (84% against Patty Hamilton).
These votes are not a commentary on her ideology but a result of her behavior.
We encourage all voters to reject her at the ballot box.
